Madonna told she's at risk of being cut off

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - First Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney got the hook when their Hyde Park concert went overtime. Now Madonna has been warned the same will happen to her if she doesn't stick to a strict 10:30 p.m. cut-off time at her concert this week at the same venue.

Live Nation has informed the one-woman performing machine that she has to follow local laws, the company's chief operating officer John Probyn told the London Evening Standard.

No matter that the show, part of her world tour for her MDNA album, marks her first British gig in four years - or that some 50,000 fans are showing up for the occasion.

"We've had lengthy conversations with Madonna's people," Probyn said. "We've worked out with them what time she needs to go on stage to finish on time."

If they don't he warned, the show will be shut down.

Just as it was for Springsteen who, after announcing, "I've waited for this moment for 50 years," brought McCartney onstage for a rousing rendition of the Beatles' "Twist and Shout."

They were shut down during their duet.
