THEN: Model Mak Gilchrist was one of the well made-up lookalikes of Robert Palmer's faux backup band in the “Addicted To Love” video that rocked MTV in 1986 (she played the bassist). While Palmer won a Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance in 1987 for the song, the video vixen cast as his bandmate recalls a more cringeworthy experience. "I remember feeling an acute sense of embarrassment when I first saw how sexy the video was,” Gilchrist confessed to the press. Fun fact: The "band" was filmed separately from Robert and then edited into the video to appear behind him.

NOW: A working model when she booked the Palmer video, Mak Gilchrist continued to book modeling gigs, including ads for Chanel fragrances and Garnier hair products. But her most recent celluloid credit was a bit part in the 1998 Julie Roberts movie Stepmom. Her lookalike bandmate, Susie Verrico, briefly resurfaced in 2006 on the British version of the reality show “Big Brother.”
