STILL TOGETHER: LONG-STANDING BANDS OF ROCK

KISS: 39 YEARS
KISS rose to prominence in the 1970s for their stage outfits and make-up (who could forget those well known painted faces?) as well their antics like fire-breathing, blood-spitting and levitating drum kits. As all long-running bands do, a number of members have passed through the band, with Gene Simmons (far L) and Paul Stanley (second from R) the constant KISS members throughout the years. Over their 39-year career the band has sold more than 100 million albums world wide, and are best known for their song 'Rock N Roll All Nite'. The news today that KISS will be touring Australia in 2013 means that they'll likely be rocking for some years to come!
