You read that correctly folks, the music industry's most powerful couple, pop star Beyonce and her husby Jay-Z, have rented out a nursery suite at the Barclay's Centre in Brooklyn, New York City, for an annual fee of $1 million.

According to US Weekly, the pair have rented a suite in the basement of the centre so the pampered tot can be close to her parents when they're watching Jay-Z's basketball team, the Brooklyn Nets, or when they stage at the centre.

The suite is reportedly 'filled with toys', and has a big screen TV so Blue Ivy can watch when her parents take to the stage (Jay-Z opened the centre last year with a series of eight concerts at the centre and is a Brooklyn native).

While the digs are extravagant (and the most expensive at the centre, found in The Vault), there's also plenty of space for adults in the room. A source told the magazine that it also serves as a grown-up playground featuring a "champagne bar and TV screen," and that Jay-Z "lets friends use the digs when he's not there."

In other news, Beyonce kicked off the new year with a private performance in Las Vegas while Jay-Z rang in the new year with a concert at the Barclays Centre with BFF Chris Martin from Coldplay (see video at top).
