We've already dazzled you with an absolutely stellar first round line up, so without further ado present to you the second line up for V Festival 2008.
Direct from the US of A, the spectacular noise pop of the one and only MODEST MOUSE, bringing with them their muscular, careering indie sounds and making a very welcome to return to Australian shores; ROISIN MURPHY, Irish disco chanteuse extraordinaire and former lead vocalist of Moloko, whose new album 'Overpowered' has blown both critics and the dancefloor into sequined smithereens; the blistering hook-laden majestic pop of Canada's HOT HOT HEAT in their first visit in years, the super-tight agile indie leanings of London's THE RAKES making their long-awaited Australian debut, homegrown festival faves CUT COPY who’s hotly anticipated sophomore 'In Ghost Colours' is set to drop just before the festival, and the raw, retro-future space disco sounds of the uber-hip Portland trio GLASS CANDY, also making their Australian debut on the V Festival 2008 stage.
This brings the live act line-up to:
THE SMASHING PUMPKINS / DURAN DURAN
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE / THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN /
AIR / THE PRESETS / Modest Mouse / Roisin Murphy / CSS /
Hot Hot Heat / The Rakes / Cut Copy / Glass Candy /
Plug in City / The Tough Alliance
