Red Hot Chili Peppers' career has spanned over two decades and during this time they've produced some of rock's most memorable and awarded music videos. Concept albums have a rich rock tradition, everyone from The Beatles to The Streets have dabbled with this art form. A double-album opus, 'Stadium Arcadium' is the Chili's at their most creative and ambitious. Comprising two discs – Jupiter and Mars, it's a wild ride.

Musical instruments: Bass, trumpet. Also dabbles on drums.

Distinguishing features: Gap-toothed grin. Too many tattoos to count.

Fiancee: Model, Frankie Rayder

Children: Clara aged 16, Sunny Bebop aged six months.

Institutions: In 2001 Flea founded his own music school The Silverlake Conservatory of Music, L.A.

Hidden talents:Acting. Flea appeared in The Big Lebowski, Back to the Future and voices the character "Donnie" in the Wild Thornberry movies.
