Red Hot Chili Peppers' career has spanned over two decades and during this time they've produced some of rock's most memorable and awarded music videos. To celebrate the release of their new album STADIUM ARCADIUM, we've compiled a Red Hot Video History of the band. This "RED-rospective" documents the evolving style and sound of the band from the big budget mayhem of their latest Dani California all the way back to the lo-fi punk aesthetic of Suck My Kiss. From the vids you've loved to ones you may have missed, from the arty to the outlandish - all the crucial Chili's clips are here. Take a wicked slam dance down memory lane.
Red Hot Video History
If you're a true fan, you'll want to acquaint yourself intimately with the band. As a companion piece to the Red Hot Videos, Red Hot Rarities features exclusive interviews, performances, live concert footage, as well as behind the scenes docos on the Band.

Red Hot Chili Peppers don't just wear their influences on their sleeves, they wear them with pride on their bare chests. All band members are famously tattooed with the name of their loves and influences, from Native American history, their wives, their children and musical heroes. For an insight into the band's current thinking, punk influences and what to expect from the new album, check out this interview with frontman Anthony Kiedis.
From soul, to grunge, punk, glamrock and back, the first single, 'Dani California' is a "REDucation" in rock history. Made for the band by 'American History X' director Tony Kaye, this video skilfully demonstrates the band's range, talents and wicked sense of humour.
Keep an eye out for Flea as David Bowie.
And whilst we recognise that you probably don't need any more help to get excited about this album, we also know you're big Chili's fans. Get a 3 minute insight into the band's success so far by watching the sizzle reel below.

Concept albums have a rich rock tradition, everyone from The Beatles to The Streets have dabbled with this art form. A double-album opus, 'Stadium Arcadium' is the Chili's at their most creative and ambitious. Comprising two discs – Jupiter and Mars, it's a wild ride. The Chilis are in fine company with this album, other famous concept albums include Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon', The Who's 'Tommy', Smashing Pumpkins' 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness' and Green Day's 'American Idiot.'
