Venues have been updated to meet unprecedented demand for UK pop sensation, La Roux.
After selling out in mere moments on Friday, all forthcoming shows for UK wunderkinds La Roux in September and October will be upgraded to larger venues to meet overwhelming demand. The shows will remain on their original dates.
Sydney's Gaelic Theatre performance will now take place at the Enmore Theatre and Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom performance will now take place at the Palace Theatre.
Remaining tickets will go on sale at 9am Thursday 3 September. Be quick, no doubt these will be snapped up immediately.
There will be strictly one show only in each city, Support at both shows will be Sydney's Catcall.
From a debut single release in late 2008, La Roux's rise has been swift. Touted as an act to watch in 2009, La Roux exceeded expectations as they unleashed their electro soundscape on the music world, affirming their place as this year's brightest stars.
The release of La Roux's critically acclaimed self-titled debut album saw them collect a Mercury Prize nomination and headline performances at some of the world's greatest festivals, making the La Roux story nothing short of astonishing, proving it is not the Year of the Ox, but rather, the Year of La Roux.

Great to see these guys doing well. The Skream remix of 'In For The Kill' is seriously dubtastic!
