After her recent appearance at Glastonbury music festival, Lisa Mitchell is headlining her own Australian tour.
Lisa will be showcasing stunning hits from her debut release, "Wonder," including the amazing newbie, "Coin Laundry." Mitchell is supported by acts, Oh Mercy and Whitebirds & Lemons on her tour.
Lisa came to the world's attention after appearing on the 2006 series of Australian Idol where she finished sixth.
Beginning guitar lessons at 12 years of age and leaning towards the folk and rock genres, she played in local cafes and events as well as with the cover band Chrome, taking inspiration from artists like Clare Bowditch.
Writing for the album began in 2007 where she collaborated with artists such as Ben Lee, Kevin Mitchell, Clare Bowditch and Katy Steele and since its release in July has achieved rave reviews.
Within 24 hours of being released the iTunes deluxe version reached number 1, while the standard version reached number 4 on the Australian iTunes Chart.
