ALBUM COVER MAKEOVERS

After releasing 10 albums, Kiss felt it was time to do something special for the cover of their 11th set, Lick It Up, so they took off their makeup. They even appeared on MTV without their trademark face paint. Unfortunately under all that make-up they just look like four middle aged men with weird hair. Luckily they saw the writing on the wall and went right back to their old-school theatrical look.
