Believe it or not Alanis Morissette wasn't always the spurned mother earth figure we know from Jagged Little Pill onwards. Back in the early 90s Morissette was a pop star known by one name - Alanis (yes, like Madonna) - and she was being marketed as 'the Canadian Tiffany'. Luckily for us Alanis dropped the teen pop idol persona and got angry, going on to be one of pop's best known angst queens.
