MYTH: Sid Vicious' ashes ended up being blown all over Heathrow airport
REALITY:The jury's out on this one. Vicious' mother claimed that she scattered his ashes on the grave of his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. However a number of witnesses claim the urn containing his ashes was dropped at Heathrow airport, most recently bandmate Johnny Rotten said during a Sex Pistols reunion that they would have liked to have an urn with Vicious' ashes there "but unfortunately his ashes were blown all over Heathrow Airport some time ago" and added he "would have needed a Hoover".
