Alanis Morissette's album "Jagged Little Pill" was the angry-girl's anthem to the '90s and "You Outta Know" became every dumped girl's theme song. 'Pill' was released in 1995 and shot to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts for 12 weeks.
After her angst-ridden debut, the Canadian singer made more mellow records—in tone and sales. She's also an actress, playing God in Kevin Smith’s “Dogma” and a recent part on “Weeds.” Her engagement to actor Ryan Reynolds didn't work out, but she is married now and promotes attachment parenting to new son Ever.
