THE CURE: 36 YEARS
Robert Smith (vocals, guitar and writing) is the one constant member of The Cure. They formed in 1976 as an alternative rock band, but changed their sound to more pop rock in the mid 1980s with songs like 'Friday I'm in Love' and 'Just Like Heaven'. The band have sold over 27 million albums to date.
