BLACK SABBATH: 42 YEARS
What's a long-running band without a revolving line-up of players? The original line-up of band members Ozzy Osbourne (L), Tommy Iommi (C) and Geezer Butler (R) lasted from 1969 until 1979, when Ozzy was reportedly fired from the band for his drug and alcohol abuse. The band changed through multiple members a number of times, with Tony Iommi the only constant member. Together they've sold over 70 million albums worldwide, and in November last year announced they were reforming for a new album. Prior to that, the last time the band were officially together was in 1997.
