The Wainwright patriarch has recorded something like 20 albums and a song a day for the past sixty years, but his claim to fame nowadays lies in his uber-talented progeny- indie-darling favourite, Martha Wainwright and the bombastic, versatile Rufus.By the way, their mum? Yep Kate McGarrigle of the singing sisters Kate and Anna McGarrigle.
