Madonna vs. Lady Gaga

With Lady Gaga riding high as the biggest star in the pop constellation Madonna decided to snipe at her megahit Born This Way by snidely accusing Gaga of ripping her off "When I heard it on the radio, I said, 'that sounds very familiar'," When asked if the song annoyed her she replied cryptically 'It felt reductive.' When the interviewer pushed her as to what she meant by reductive she arched an eyebrow and snippily replied "Look it up."

Are we seeing a pattern developing here? It seems like Madonna has devoted much of her later career to picking fights with other stars! Maybe she can feel her crown slipping away...
