Sound Relief was a benefit concert held for the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal and the QLD Premier's Disaster Relief Fund staged simultaneously in Melbourne and Sydney on March 14, 2009.

The 4-DVD set captures over nine hours of amazing footage captured at both concerts.

Some of the artists showcased spread from Jet to John Farnham; Barry Gibb to Bliss N Eso; the Finn Family to the Royal Family; the especially reformed Hunters & Collectors, Midnight Oil and Split Enz, indeed all of the artists who travelled from near and far, volunteered their services to do what they do best; perform at these mighty gigs especially organised to raise funds for those whose lives were so tragically affected by fires and floods.

The concerts raised over $8 million for the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal and the QLD Premier's Disaster Relief Fund and featured performances from the cream of the music industry from Australia and abroad.

The purchase of the Sound Relief 4-DVD set will continue to raise money for the Red Cross as all profits from the sale of the Sound Relief DVD will go to the Red Cross to develop programs and resources to better prepare communities for disasters such as bushfires and floods. All the artists that feature on the DVD have generously waived their royalty fees to increase the monetary contribution to the Red Cross.

Sound Relief 4 DVD Set is available in stores now.
