The ARIAs are just behind us, and have this year heralded the rise of one superstar Missy Higgins and rewarded Ben Lee for a fantastic musical contribution in 2005.
2005 also saw the release of the long-awaited fourth album from ARIA-veteran Alex Lloyd. Alex won 'Best Male' in 2000, 2001 and 2003. His hit 'Amazing' won the coveted JJ listener-voted song of the year.
Now on to his new self-titled album, and with new management, new family and a new record label, the sound is still just as good. Alex took the time he wanted over recording this album, and instead of moving from hotel room to hotel room, he took time out to spend with his family and record in a more relaxed environment.
