It's the question on everyone's lips and tonight all will be revealed at the 2009 ARIA awards which takes place at Sydney's ACER arena.
Expect to see glamour, guys with heavy eyeliner, surprise wins and Robbie Williams performing his latest single "Bodies."
The cachet of winning an ARIA can do huge things for an Australian artist especially the biggie of the night Album of The Year which can move truckloads more for the winner in question.
Case in Point, The Preset's "Apocalypso," which last year won Album of the Year and this year, is nominated for "Highest Selling Album."
Alongside the Presets are Empire of the Sun's "Walking on a Dream" which spent 56 weeks on the chart and Hilltop Hoods very successful third album "State of The Art." Nobody can touch AC/DC with their five times platinum "Black Ice."
But alongside these music heavyweights is 20 year old Jessica Mauboy whose album "Been Waiting" has been a phenomenal success in 2009 for the young artist.
Mauboy is the big nominee for the night, up for seven in total and no doubt will collect due to "Been Waiting" producing hit after hit for the sassy r&b princess.
She is sure to pick up "Breakthrough Artist Album," though the relatively new on the scene "Temper Trap's album, "Conditions," was nothing short of an astounding debut release for 2009. The category also includes releases by fellow Aussie idol, Lisa Mitchell for "Wonder" and Ladyhawke which are sure to make things difficult.
Jessica Mauboy could also pick up the Breakthrough single for "Running Back" featuring Flo Rida which was huge for her, double platinum in fact, which could also earn her the Highest Selling Single.
The Best Female category is packed with amazing women, Mauboy again as well as strong contenders, Kate Miller Heike and Sarah Blasko who released an amazing third album, "As Day Follows Night," this year.
Best Male is a relatively even bet, with Bob Evans potentially taking home the coveted prize.
Empire of The Sun are up for Album of The Year & Single of the Year and are looking good having already won three Artisan ARIAS for best producer and cover art and video. However massive rock legends, AC/DC are also up for the award and could upset the apple cart in this category.
AC/DC, Empire of The Sun, Eskimo Joe, Hilltop Hoods and The Drones are up for Best Group which will probably go to AC/DC who amazingly, though they have had a huge career, is the first time they pick up an ARIA nomination. The other bands in the category just didn't touch them sales wise, the guys having made $115 million so far from "Black Ice."
Best Pop Release sees the usual suspects in the mix ie Jessica Mauboy, Empire of The Sun, Ladyhawke and Sarah Blasko, however again Mauboy is sure to pick up the prize for this one.
Best Urban has got to go to The Hilltop Hoods for their excellent hip hop release "State of The Art" which sold exceptionally well for the guys.
Keith Urban returns home to perform at the ARIA awards after his recent success at the American Music Awards. Urban will no doubt collect the Best Country Album and like clockwork, remember to thank his wife Nicole Kidman, who in turn will blow him a kiss from the audience. No surprises there.
Be sure to check back to see pics on the red carpet and get the lowdown at this year's ARIA awards.
Who do you think will win tonight?
