Perth band Little Birdy’s latest album "Confetti" took 12 months to make and what is achieved is a tight group of well-written pop songs with infectious beats and smart lyrics.
Katy Steele’s vocals are stronger than ever and range from soulful to driving pop and the songs span those ranges whilst managing to capture a sense of what the band is like live.
The latest single lifted from the album is the gorgeous ballad "Hairdo", an ode to love based on inner beauty.
All tracks have been written by Steele, and there is a definite sense of a more emotional album this time around.
