Crowded House will headline this year's Homebake festival in Sydney.
Other acts named in the first line up for the festival include You Am I, Sneaky Sound System, The Vines, Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson, Cut Copy, PNAU and Gabriella Cilmi.
More acts will be announced in the next few months for December 6 festival, which will be at The Domain in Sydney's CBD.
Crowded House last played sell-out shows in Australia in November last year.
Since then, the band - who reunited 18 months ago - have performed around the United States and Europe, including at this year's Glastonbury festival.
This is the first time Crowded House have headlined the festival, but the band's frontman, Neil Finn, did headline the event in 2005 with his brother Tim as part of the Finn Brothers.
Meanwhile, Melbourne pop singer Gabriella Cilmi - whose single Sweet About Me has been a big hit in Australia and overseas - will make her Australian festival debut at Homebake.
This year's festival - which has a capacity of 20,000 - will have a Peace in the Park theme.
