Mariah Carey has sparked rumours she is engaged to boyfriend Nick Cannon after sporting a ring on her wedding finger at the TriBeCa Film Festival. The singer has been dating Cannon since he teamed up with her in a new video.

The couple made every attempt not to be spotted together at the festival. But Carey was happy to pose for photographs with a diamond ring on her wedding finger, adding to speculation she is to marry for the second time.

Mariah married Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola in 1993 - but divorced five years later. Cannon called off his engagement to model Selita Ebanks last year. (wenn)
